Principal's Message

Welcome!

It is an honor to continue to serve as the Principal at Pathway Community Day School. As I begin my 4th year at Pathway I feel fortunate to have a talented, experienced (and award winning) staff and a very supportive district. Pathway’s mission is to provide an alternative educational environment for students who need additional support in school.  A number of these students may have encountered incredible situations in their personal lives and had trouble dealing with the effects. Our focus is on addressing those issues, presenting challenges for students, while helping them regain or learn the critical social and academic skills they need to be successful in a regular school environment. In addition to our veteran staff, our program provides mentoring through CenCal mentors, substance abuse counseling through Eminence and partnerships with Fresno County Social Service agencies and Probation. We also offer the award winning Parent Project class annually to district parents experiencing problems dealing with their teenage children. Our goal is to support students and parents dealing with unique circumstances, while at the same time providing an excellent education to students in grades 1-12. I look forward to working with you and the Central Unified Community this year!
